Today we visited with Grammie and Grandpa.  We attended cousin Amanda’s award ceremony where she was recognized for achievement in Social Studies.  Erin and Alex got a chance to ride the horses.  We are staying an extra day in New York because my brother Edward is flying home from Germany on leave from the Army.  It has been a few years since we have seen him.  Grammie is thrilled to have everyone together.

  1. Congratulate Erin for me – that’s great! And of course, please tell ‘Grammie and Grandpa’ and Edward that I say hello. It’s wonderful you can have a spontaneous reunion!

  2. Think about a drive through Letchworth State Park. About 20 miles south of Rochester, N.Y. Huge gorge with 3 waterfalls, one higher than Niagra. Beautiful place for lunch in park at Glen Iris in, next to wonderful indian museum with many local artifacs. Nice trails and picnic areas. “The Grand Canyon of the East”

  3. Looks and sounds like a GREAT start! How special that you’ll see Edward!
Keep up the good work and stay safe.

  4. We are anxious to hear about the grand reunion with the visiting soldier……….I can imagine the ‘electricity’ when he arrived.

    Travel well….

  5. Hi Gang! Sorry I’m not writing until, now but we just got our new computer, the old one died. Sawyer saw your horse riding pics and said, “Hey that’s not a cowboy. It’s just a little perosn!” I hope you packed the extra tin foil!
